- Robert Meredith
Mindsets and Capabilities Lead FacilitatorRobert has over 25 years experience in leadership development, change management, life skills training, personal and professional development training and body work training. He is the Director of People Knowhow Life Skills Training and former manager/leader of Himalayan expeditions through his company Conscious Trekking. Robert has extensive Australian and overseas experience in the delivery of: Leadership Development for senior executives and top teams; Change Management and Organisational Change.
Robert is a dynamic and motivational presenter who is able to engage with others through empathy and emotional awareness. He aims to share techniques enabling people to understand their emotional nature, allowing personal evolution and healthy self expression.

Current Role: Statewide Advisory Visiting Teacher- Orientation and Mobility
Based at Disability Services Support Unit, Brisbane, Queensland
I have worked in the field of vision impairment and education since 1991, initially as an Advisory Visiting Teacher in Central Queensland and in the Pine Rivers & Redcliffe areas. I studied for my Masters of Rehabilitation in Orientation and Mobility in 1999 and have worked in that area ever since. I have had the opportunity to deliver lectures on O&M service delivery for children at Griffith University in Queensland and Renwick University in NSW.
My job offers me the opportunity to travel across Queensland visiting schools, students with vision impairment and their families to provide information and support in the area of Orientation and Mobility.
- Hellen Riley
Hellen comes from a background in Education, teaching in England for 20 years before migrating to South Australia. Her interest in vision impairment began when children were first integrated into their local schools in the early 1980s. She later joined the VI Support Service in Staffordshire. Hellen studied for her VI qualifications through Birmingham University, achieving her Master of Education in 1996.
In South Australia, Hellen worked as a Visiting Teacher for students with vision impairment and was co-ordinator of the Visiting Teacher Service for six years, 1997 - 2002. Hellen continues to enjoy working with children who have vision impairment in a Family Support Service role with CanDo4Kids at Townsend House in Adelaide.
