How wonderful to see albinism represented in so many sports in this years Paralympics in Rio.
Even more wonderful and exciting is to see one of ‘our own’, Western Australia’s Chad Perris, run an amazing race to collect a bronze medal for Australia.
Your hard work and dedication have been rewarded so well, and this race is such an inspiration to all with albinism, particularly the families of our children with albinism, who can – through your efforts – see that nothing can stop a person born with a genetic condition.
And congratulations to Chad’s parents for their effort behind the scenes, to instil and nurture a can-do attitude in the ‘white tiger’.
The AFA is proud to add our best wishes!
